Making the box

Step 11 Individual boxes

Each box is mainly hand made. The inner box is made 1st out of card, and then the covering papers are cut to a size using exact tooling according to the piece. The lid is then foil embossed with the clients logo/crest.
The embossed paper for the lid is put through a gluing machine which, is then applied to the inner box lid, the base paper goes through the same process.
When completed the finished item is inspected and any excess glue wiped away. The box is then ready for despatch to our factory. The paper colour will have been agreed by the client and with the use of the client's logo/crest a set of dye blocks are made for the foil blocking.

Step 12 Quality control

This stage of the process sees all items in one place and again any faults are looked for, if any are found the piece is taken out of the chain.

At this stage the piece is then packed and made ready for dispatch to the client.

Step 13 Packing the china

The piece is now ready for packing into protective double wall boxes, protected by a flo-pak product to ensure maximum protection for the piece. The item can now be sent via our Courier.
